Veteran's Day

Today, da United States honors der veteran's wif a day called Veteran's Day.  We know der is so many soldiers from all ova who has bin in wars and so da Bad Boyz of Twitter wish to has a moment to honor all da soldiers and families who stwuggle wif der loved ones being in harms way.  And so, dis flag be a symbol to say we is thinking of yoo and thanks yoo for yoo service.


One of our Bad Boyz members LeoPussMan sent dis to us today and we thought it was vewy inspirational.  We hopes yoo do too!

    A beautiful tribute to America's Veterans. Thanks to the Bad Boyz of Twitter for remembering the men & women who serve this county so proudly on the Veteran's Day, 11/11/11.

    The UK does the same, but calls it Remembrance Day.

    Promptly at 11, traffic halted, shop checkouts closed, businesses paused and at War Memorials, in public parks, at work, at school, at home and by the roadside people stood in silence for 2 minutes to pay tribute to those who have served and suffered in the hope and for the purpose of bringing peace and freedom to the world.

    Even though the official Remembrance Services take place on Sunday, there's something especially poignant about paying that tribute at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, the moment when the Armistice was signed to signal the close of what was meant to be the "war to end war".

    God bless all those being comemmorated - and kudos to the #BadBoyzofTwitter for paying tribute to them.
